What's up Buff Nation?

My name is Cassidy and I'm currently an undergraduate senior at the University of Colorado Boulder on track to receive a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a double minor in Creative Technology & Design and Sports Media.

When I was younger, I was always finding new ways to express my creativity. Whether through drawing, writing, or taking videos of my little siblings, I have always been a storyteller at heart. 

​

​Since starting college, I've developed a deep passion for the sports and entertainment industry and the stories that are told through teams and artists to create a loyal fanbase. Looking back on the memories that played a role in my sports addiction, my goal is to find a career where I can be a part of the behind-the-scenes that make the fan experience so amazing.

​Over the past year, I've been fortunate enough to have backstage access to both professional and collegiate sports through multiple positions. I've witnessed the aftermath of the Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup win and watched the Denver Nuggets hoist the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy in their first national title win. I've also developed professional content for the Colorado Rapids and helped transform the University of Colorado Buffaloes from a 1-11 football team to a Prime-worthy Athletics department.

This semester, I'm starting my second year as a Marketing intern for CU Athletics where I will be able to witness its "Prime Era" from the sidelines. Follow along as I showcase the behind-the-scenes of Buffalo Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer. Sko Buffs!
